Krewe Nouveau was founded September 1, 2007. The purpose of our organization is to raise funds and awareness for our local community counseling service - The House Next Door through Mardi Gras festivities in DeLand. We are an auxiliary of the House Next Door, a non-profit 501(c)3.
The House Next Door is a private, not-for-profit agency founded by a group of concerned citizens and parents in 1976. This grass roots organization’s mission is to strengthen the individual, nurture the family, and support the community with a comprehensive array of services throughout Volusia and Flagler counties.
We host La Fête Fantastique annually during Mardi Gras season. A casual, funky, let your hair down party. Our "king and queen" Lord Louis and Lady Marmalade are crowned at this event.
